Hepburn House is a Nova Scotia bed and breakfast located 5 minutes from the Halifax International Airport in Oakfield NS. Nestled in the wilderness, yet close by a variety of world class golf courses and the beautiful historic Shubenacadie river system.

Enjoy the unsurpassed beauty and history of this area. Near by is Grand Lake, a favorite of many locals which is a large, crisp, clean freshwater lake used for fishing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking and picnic gatherings.

We moved from the city to fulfill our dreams of living more green friendly and sharing our love of life with friends, new and old. We like to think our bed and breakfast is something different. Not only can you have a romantic smooch by the fire, but we encourage music and dancing and a maritime kitchen party. We are still very much in the start up stage, but we have so many plans for organic gardens and chickens and much more.

Your hosts at the Hepburn House, Ed and Christine welcome their guests to experience this exquisite property. With 8.5 acres of beautifully landscaped lawn and vegetation, such as mature apple trees, shrubs and a natural pond teaming with wildlife, its sure to impress our guests.
